Key Features of Solid Deck Modular Plastic Pallet

1. Both the Top & Bottom Surfaces Solid
This time we use solid panels on both the top and bottom surfaces of the pallet. Inside these surfaces is a grid structure. This balances surface hygiene and strength while helping you keep part of your budget under control.
2. Enhanced Surface Slip Resistance
Modular pallets are made for large boxes and oversized goods. The larger the pallet is, the more important slip resistance becomes. For this reason, we added more holes for anti-slip pads around the pallet deck and at the module connections.
If you look closely, you will also notice the rough texture on the pallet surface. It helps keep your goods stable even in a damp storage environment.
3. Versatility of Material Handling Equipment
These new solid modular pallets follow our usual pallet design principle: they are fully compatible with automatic or manual forklift as well as pallet jack. The fork entry points keep the sloped design to reduce impact from the forks.
4. Upgraded Steel-reinforced
The image shows how steel tubes reinforce this pallet series (steel pipes are distributed across the top and the pallet bottom). We place several lightweight galvanized steel tubes in both the top and bottom of the pallet. Each tube weighs 1 to 1.4 kg. These tubes resist rust, so they will not contaminate your goods.
After adding steel tubes according to our design, these pallets can support a static load of up to 6T, a dynamic load of 2T, and a racking load of 1.5T. We also strongly recommend adding steel tubes when using this series on unsupported racks.
5. Interlocking Assembly Method
You are probably very interested in how these pallets are assembled! Strictly speaking, the method is the same as our Open deck modular pallet. The interlocking structure on each module connects all modules into one complete pallet. These solid-surface interlocking modules provide stronger and more stable connections.

6. Fewer Added Components
Our solid modules rely on their own structure to provide strong impact resistance, so there is no need to add protective edge frames. The pallet connections also require no extra fasteners.
This gives the pallet better overall integrity. You will not have to deal with missing components or wait for replacement parts to arrive.
What are the Limitations of Solid Top Modular Pallets?
To be honest, solid modular pallets do weigh more than grid modular pallets.
However, the added weight also means better performance.
After repeated long-term static load tests, we found that these heavier solid modular pallets can slow down center sagging under heavy static loads. Large goods themselves often weigh close to 1T. Our customers also tend to choose heavier pallets when storing oversized goods.
From a practical point of view, switching to solid modular pallets can reduce how often you need to replace your pallets compared with using lightweight pallets.
So, when should you choose a grid modular pallet? If your goods need ventilation and you do not require a strict hygiene environment, the more affordable grid modular pallet is a better choice.
Customization Options for Our Interlocking Solid Pallets

- Any pallet size: We can produce everything from mini pallets to large pallets. Please note that the length or width cannot exceed 4 meters.
- Color: We can change the overall pallet color or use a different color around the fork entry points. We can also match your brand color.
- logo or barcode: We can print your submitted logo and QR code on the side of the pallet, or reserve a separate space for them.
- Rfid tracking: We can add an Rfid card slot to the side or bottom of the pallet. The card is not easy to dislodge and stays more secure than it would on a wooden pallet.
- Number of steel tubes: We can increase or reduce the number of steel tubes. This will affect the total pallet weight.
- Slip resistance: The position, number, and shape of the anti-slip pads can all be customized.
- Additives: Before pallet production, we can add UV stabilizers, antistatic agents, antioxidants, toughening agents, flame-retardant masterbatch, and more.
- Raw material ratio: We normally produce modular pallets with 100% virgin HDPE/PP. If you plan to use the pallets for light loads or one-way export, we can add a percentage of recycled material.
- Structural customization: Our current structure is similar to a 3 runner design. You can also ask us to customize it as 9 legs, reversible, full perimeter, or another structure.

3. Cold Storage and Cold Chain Transportation: The solid plastic surfaces are easy to wash and do not absorb moisture. Water is also less likely to remain inside the pallet.
4. Large Furniture Products: Custom sizes can support bulky furniture products such as mattresses, bed boards, large panels, and other oversized items.
5. Solar Photovoltaic Panels: Solar panels and related components need a wide, stable support surface during storage and transportation.
6. Metal Parts: Steel plates, machine parts, metal frames, and other heavy industrial products require strong pallets.
7. Tires: These modular pallets can be sized for different tire diameters and loading arrangements.
8. Industrial Paper Products: Large paper sheets, paper rolls, printing materials, and industrial paper packages need clean and even support.
9. Large Boxes and Irregular Goods: If standard pallet sizes do not fit your cargo, the modular structure gives you more freedom. We can adjust the length and width for large cartons, equipment housings, long components, and other irregular goods.
